Kaylee Fechter

Kaylee Fechter was born in St. Louis MO. She has been dancing for 16 years and is currently a Junior at UMSL and a third year instructor at Wildwood Dance. She has been dancing at Wildwood Dance for 10 years.  She was a teacher’s assistant for 7 years as well. She was member of the Senior Company for Danse Arts Company and has been in Missouri Ballet Theater’s “Nutcracker”.   In Danse Arts Company productions she has had lead roles in the Winter Show as Snow Queen, Marzipan Lead, and Spanish Lead. She has also been in the Corps, for Waltz of the Flowers and Snow.  She has now choreographed multiple dances for DAC, as of late in “Alice in Wonderland” Spring 2015.  She teaches any range of younger students and multiple styles, has choreographed for our jazz team, and specializes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, and Lyrical.

In high school at, Lafayette High School, she was a member of the Drama Club and was a crew member in  the schools  production  of “Little Shop of Horrors”.  She was a member of Renaissance, an award for students with outstanding grades. She participates in the A+ Program, which helps earns college tuition for tutoring  other students. Kaylee has been honored with the Choice Award from a staff member at Lafayette High School.  Students chosen for the Choice Award are honored for their outstanding character at school and in the community.
